CPI increases prices by 5% as of 01 July 2021

Given the magnitude and speed of price increases for all raw materials and semi-finished products, and in order to continue to be able to procure these products on the market, CPI feels compelled to increase its prices effective July 1, 2021. CPI will of course respect the terms of the contracts in force. CPI's sales department will be contacting our customers in the coming days to implement this increase. CPI will, of course, continue to make every effort to potentially minimize the impact of these increases and meet delivery schedules.

From now on, every publisher can have individual titles or the entire program produced CO2-neutrally at CPI. At the same time, CPI is switching to 100% renewable electricity.

CPI offers its customers again a bit more sustainability. Now you can have your book produced in a CO2-neutral way, making it even more valuable and sustainable. At the same time, CPI has switched to electricity from 100% renewable sources at all of its sites.

CPI enters into cooperation with Zeitfracht

Zeitfracht Print On Demand & Distribution Expansion:
Strategic partnership with CPI

Erfurt, 17 February 2021 Zeitfracht GmbH and CPI Germany announce today a broad strategic partnership. The collaboration will result in the expansion of Print-on-Demand (PoD) activities at Zeitfracht. CPI will take over PoD production within Zeitfracht GmbH's distribution & logistics centre in Erfurt by latest the start of 2022.

The partnership brings together the expertise of both companies. Zeitfracht GmbH's unique Ger-man book supply chain services, including wholesale, distribution and logistics between publishers and book retailers, and CPI‘s extensive book production experience will bring new supply chain solutions to publishers and trade customers.

The collaboration will enable a significant growth in titles available for fast digital printing straight from order. Publishers that buy distribution services with Zeitfracht & CPI will also benefit from the joint delivery of PoD and warehouse titles.

We are very pleased that you have signed up for our newsletter. For each registration, CPI has promised to offset 1 tonne of CO2. We can tell you today that we
100 tons of CO2
through our partner "First Climate". According to a report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, water scarcity will be one of the most acute environmental problems in Southeast Asia in the near future. We are therefore converting the CO2 amount into a gold standard certified sustainability project for water treatment in Cambodia.

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Fabrice HOLLER as Chief Operating Officer of CPI. In this position, he reports directly to the Board of ELPIS MANAGEMENT LIMITED, the sole shareholder of CPI.

Fabrice HOLLER joined CPI in 2010 and has been CFO of the Group since 2018. He has worked with Pierre-François Catté, the current President of CPI, for more than fifteen years and has been instrumental in the turnarounds that CPI has achieved in this very competitive industry.
